I’m going to give it the benefit of the doubt since before this I have only tried sipping straight whiskey and tequila, but if this is how rum is supposed to taste like then maybe the whole spirit is not for me. The smell is delightful but it goes down hard with burn. It’s confusing because at the same time it’s very sweet like a peppermint candy. Overall I’m sure there are worse products and I don’t 100% regret buying it. If you’re new to rum maybe try something lighter in color.
