Typical of their flavor profile, this joins the 1897 family perfectly. A higher rye bourbon, this has a peppery note that shows up late on the palette. Not my favorite for a neat pour, this serves well on a rock or my preferred for this b.i.b. is with. 3 fresh mint leaves lightly muddled with a teaspoon of brown sugar and broken ice. The flavor notes of this hits perfectly for a traditional strait mint julep. Enjoy!!!
